for Logos 8: option to make background darker

I run Logos 6 + the darkest I can make the background in a very light gray.  Its too light for me.

I spent the last several days on another online Christian reading system, where I have the background set at medium gray - which is just perfect for me.

Yesterday, I came back to Logos.  I could feel my eyes pulse [like a heart beat] as they tried to adjust to too much light.  This went on for 5 minutes.

I urge more background options be inserted into L8.
