iPhone OS Developer Agreement Section 3.3.1
Hi Logos,
I was reading tonight about the new section prohibiting using programs like Mono for developing iphone apps. I realize this is probably really early on and a huge headache for you guys, but would like to hear some thoughts on how this will affect future iPhone/iPad development.
Thanks,
Ben

Could be totally wrong here, but I don't think it will be a problem.
The following explanation of the relationship between the iPad and .NET is from this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/12648/98445.aspx#98445.
The iPad code base is based on the iPhone code base, which was written completely native with no shared code. We can't use .NET there, but I'm already regretting that we let it be a completely new "native" app, rather than forcing that team to keep our existing layout and display code. We have lots of books with subtle display issues, small difference in how our desktop and iPhone render things, etc. We'll probably end up re-doing that part with a very "line for line" port of our display system. It won't be .NET, but it'll be "the same code".

With this new restriction by Apple, perhaps Bob doesn't regret it anymore! Otherwise we wouldn't have a Logos App for the iPhone at all with OS4. [:D]

Why does Jer. 29:11 come to mind here?
