I have found 60 pages of pertinent material on 2 Thessalonians 2: 1-17. I don't have enough time to read it all. Any advice on selecting enough for a one hour lesson?
Charles, it would help if you told us how you found the 60 pages (Was it a search? Was it a Passage Guide? etc.). Once we know what part of the program gave you that information we should be able to give you help in cutting that down.
Most of it came from commentary search
From search. Mostly commentaries.
Charles, you might use the Passage Guide to get better results. A straight search for a scripture reference can get hits you aren’t interested in, footnotes or references to the passage in other commmentaries even though those are not commenting on the passage itself.
The Pasage Guide will give you hits in commentaries that actually are dealing with the passage, not just referring to the passage.
If you still get too many, you can create a Collection with only the commentaries you want to look in, and in the Passage Guide add a collections section and choose your collection as the one it will look in. This helps if you have some commentaries you really don’t like or find helpful.
Start by using the Passage Guide and see if that helps.
