Catena Aurea SO CLOSE to $16, even has a chance to go down to $14

For those who are sitting on bids of $8, $10, or $12, don't wait until the last minute to jump in. Bump up your bid to $16. The momentum and excitement in the last week tends to bring others on board and drive the price down even further. And you will be guaranteed to either get it at the lowest possible price (which might end up being $14) or not get it at all. There's no reason to not bump up your bid.

Hi Tes (and others) -- there is no need to raise one's bid any higher than what the current minimum price is ($18), since that extra won't make any difference now that it has gone over 100% needed for production. Of course it doesn't hurt anything to have bid more, since you will still get the book for the lower price once it is produced.

But if you bid less than $18, then you won't get the book at all. Only people who bid at least the minimum production cost amount will get it. Others will be dropped come Friday at noon if you haven't raised your bid by then.

That's an important fact for those who took the time and trouble to bid less than $16 - just increase to $18 to be sure of getting the book!

I can't agree with you any LOUDER! When I first started with Community Pricing, I was playing games with my bids. I missed out on a title by $2 and when I saw it in Pre-Pub the price had jumped 3x what I could have had it for. Now I place my bids with sincerity and still get it locked in at the lowest possible price. If somebody really wants these resources, it is time to step up and secure that cheap price.
No more games. [C] Go without coffee for a few days if you have to.

OK, after much hemming and hawing over whether this was a resource that would interest me or not, I'm finally in at $16. Even if it turns out to be completely useless to me I can certainly afford $16 to find out [:P]

EDIT - It drives me nuts that there are three different message boards I am active on and all three of them use a different syntax for smiley input. I can never remember which method is correct for which board [:P]

Trust me, you will like it. And even if you don't, you can always sell it. I am sure the Logos sale price upon release will be higher than your $16 + transfer fee.

Long, long ago, in a Libronix-on-CD world, there were people who bought multiple copies of a Pre-Pub and resold therm for a profit on publcation day. I am not recommending that for an investment strategy but you aren't risking much on this one. [:O] [:)] [:#] [8-)] [<:o)] That's something to smile about.
