Book Purchase

I took the plunge and bought the 4 upgrade for my pc and installed it on my mac (it took all weekend on the mac).  I even upgraded to silver and I love it.

I bought a book last night (The Pursuit of God by Tozer).  It immediately loaded on my pc, but I can't seem to find in on my mac.  Is there a special process I need to follow to download single purchase books for a mac?

Go to preferences and check the top item 'use internet'. I have found that it switches off unexplainably (unexplainably by me - I wonder if a key board short cut is tripping it?)

Edit -- Just checking my own system I  find the top item is 'Automatically download updates' - 'Use internet ' is at the bottom of the first section - close edit

Worth a look anyway.

If you use both Windows and Mac and then use L4 where there is no Internet connection the Mac alpha switches itself to "no" on the use Internet choice in preferences. On the Windows side, it automatically adjusts when you restore the Internet connection. The Mac Alpha does not adjust, you have to go in to preferences and change the "use Internet" category to "yes."

Thank you Monroe - that explains one mystery.

I hope the developers are listening on this one because it will cause no end of confusion and fixing it may save them a good deal of time.
