I have a Greek new Testament, SBL edition.

SBL means Society of Biblical literature and seems to be a major publisher.

How does SBL map in the theological (fundamentalist-evangelical-traditional-liberal-secular) and academic (popular-academic-pseudoscholar) axis?

How does SBL map in the theological (fundamentalist-evangelical-traditional-liberal-secular) and academic (popular-academic-pseudoscholar) axis?

SBL is a biblical studies group, and therefore doesn't (in theory) take a theological stance. It's members will be made up of all those theological traditions (except, perhaps, fundamentalist).

It's the largest and most well-respected academic biblical studies group in the world.

The Greek NT (SBL edition) was produced as a partnership between SBL and Faithlife, mostly (I think) to ensure that Logos could distribute an eclectic Greek text without paying royalties.
