I’ve come across a couple of symbols in Comfort & Barrett’s The Text of the Earliest New Testament Greek Manuscripts (2001) which don’t appear to be identified in its List of Abbreviations (or in any of its other headend material).
For example:
In p72 at Jude 1:3, I find “«πειστι»c”. I understand that the “«…»” indicates a scribal erasure, but what does the “c” at the end indicate?
Similarly, at Jude 1:4, I find “«νομον»f”. What does the final “f” indicate?
