Pre-Pub's?

Last week I was able to download for my Logos 4 (for Mac & PC) the Africa Bible Commentary (as soon as it was released from pre-pub). It hasn't showed up on my iPhone app yet. Today I was able to get the N.T. Wright Christian Origins stuff downloaded. When will these show up on my iPhone? I found only one reference to "a couple of days" on the website and now its been a week. Anyone know when Pre-Pubs finally sync to the iPhone app?

Thanks!

Jason

historically it's been between a week and 2 or 3 weeks for the ones that I monitor. We have not heard any official word from Logos on this as far as I know, however.

I am afraid to ask this question:

When I received an email from Zondervan Academic it stated these titles are available for download by purchasing them. Does this mean they will not be made available for free to those of us who bought them in Logos?  One way of answering this is to find somebody who has iPhone access to any Zondervan title in the ZBR 87 vol. collection and did not have to pay to download it. I don't have iPod so I can't tell you.

The Expositor's BIble Commentary (Which was released ahead of the release of the other things in the Z87 package) has been available on iPhone for awhile. I did not have to pay to download it.

I got that email, and I think it was saying that it had its resources available for iPhone in a number of different application (Logos being one of them). There is no such thing in Logos as a license for an iPod only product. Nor is there an ability to pay more to have a resource show up on your iPhone. One license is one license and you get to use it on all devices the publisher allows.

Today is Wednesday, April 14th and both the Africa Bible Commentary and the Christian Origins stuff showed up today...only took a week and 2 days for the Commentary and 2 days for the other books to come. Nice work Logos! Thanks!

I am very happy to hear that. I may follow through with an iPad purchase if there isn't some great public outcry against the hardware. I would encourage Pradis users to take advatntage of the crossgrade discount before the deadline. Having the resources available on iPhone as well as in Logos almost doubles the value. (You know Zondervan could have negotiated a different contract had they wanted to.)
