What is the best book offered by Logos for defending your faith against the Jehovah Witness?
Thanks!
I would recommend the three by David Reed that are part of the Baker Digital Reference Library Level 3 if you can find a copy of that collection somewhere:
They are also available as individual titles:
Jehovah's Witnesses Answered: Verse By Verse http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/JWVERSE
Jehovah's Witnesses Answered: Subject by Subject http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/JWSUBJCT
Index of Watch Tower Errors http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/WTERRORS
but IF and ONLY IF you are willing to take the time to read and understand the books BEFORE you get engaged with them AND you have mapped out your strategy in advance. Get a good grip on the doctrine of the Trinity and the deity of Jesus before you engage.
The above mentioned collection also contains David Reeds book on How to Rescue Your Loved One from the Watch Tower http://www.logos.com/ebooks/details/RESCUEWT
AND it contains some similar books on how to engage with Mormons should the need arise.
Thanks David! I just ordered "Baker Digital Reference Library Level 3".[:D]
I agree with David's recommendations about particularly knowing what the Bible teaches (and where it teaches it) regarding the Trinity and the deity of Christ (you'll also want to know which verses they forgot to mangle in their translation; i.e. they have changed John 1:1 but didn't change Acts 20:28).
John, start with "How to Rescue Your Loved One from the Watch Tower", because it provides a strategy for dealing with JW's. All David Reed's books are excellent and having them in searchable form within Logos is so much better than paper.
Thanks guys!
