Am I missing out on something? Are these two windows representing two types of searches for one word???
Behind the word "mind" in the ESV is both an article and a noun, so they both show up in the right click context menu.
how do i know which is the article and/or the noun?
διανοια is the noun. The greek articles are ὀ, τοῦ, τῶ, τον, ὀι, τῶν, τοῖς, τοῦς, ἠ, τῆς, τῇ, την, ἀι, ταῖς, τας, το, τα
thx MK - will the noun always be in the lower box and the article in the upper? I don't know Gk like some of you scholars!
The noun should almost always be on the bottom, in fact I can't think of a case where it wouldn't be. Also, the first letter of the Morph code indicates what part of speech it is, so you might want to learn those too.
I learned something! I almost never use the context menu, so i wouldn't know. Thanks for the info.
You're welcome,
The RI data respects the original word order as much as possible and given that the article comes before its word that is why it should come second in the list. Of course tagging errors or some grammatical outlier could possibly vary the order.
... of course I would recommend learning Greek to minimize the chance of exegetical errors when using the tools in Logos.

I've found 'Learning New Testament Greek Now And Then' (here) a useful introduction to the structure and rules of Biblical Greek. This has greatly eased the process of understanding how Logos can help with NT exegesis.
