In Logos 1 for Mac when you had Bibles or Commentaries open you could use the left or right arrow to go to the next Bible or Commentary. Is there anyway to do that in Logos4 yet?
Also. Anytime I close a search box the death hang comes and I have to force quit. Any ideas there?
You can do exactly that in L4 ... (left/right-arrow, that is)
hmmm. I am stumped.
I have my Bible and a Commentary open and linked. Right or left arrow does nothing.
Same set up in Logos1.2 for Mac and left or right carries me to the next commentary.
Is there some set up I did in the old Logos to make this happen? If so could you remind me to what it might have been.
Thanks!
So I just opened Logos4, typed TNIV in the command box. TNIV opened. Pressed right-arrow and NKJV appeared, left-arrow back to TNIV, then ESV, then NIV (Anglicised).
This goes through your Bibles in the order set by prioritisation (and possibly any collections you have set up). Do you have the Parallel resources button on the title bar next to the reference box? Are you using 4.0b (help/about)?
Hmm. I have never set up Bible by prioritization Don't know how.
Haven't figured out collections either. Had Morris' collections CD on PC, but do not believe that disc will install on Mac.
I do not have a Parallel resources button. I am using Pre- Release Alpha 17 (4.03.3.8126)
Ah ... maybe that feature isn't on the Mac version yet. Wait for a Mac person to ciome along ... I'll retire gracefully!
Kenny:
It seems parallel resources has not yet been integrated into the mac version yet. As for the crash you indicated in your subsequent post, if you can reproduce it could you take logs of the event and post them? Instructions are linked to from my signature. One last thing. If you remember you wanted to add something to your post you don't need to post a second time. There is a time frame (not sure how long it is though, I think like 5-15minutes) in which you can edit your original post. It makes it easier to reply because your whole post is listed above the reply box. Just FYI [:D]
