A-17 was open in the background. I had done nothing but open the application to the last used layout and was reading the forum when L-4 Mac simply disappeared.

As with all my layouts, this one was created in the Windows version, and it predates the release of A-17.
I left A-17 running in the background with the Home Page displayed. In less than 5 minutes, L-4 disappeared.

It appears that the crash is occurring in a third-party library that we use to manipulate documents (as well as access Biblical People/Places/Things).
We plan to eliminate our dependency on this library in the not-too-distant future; in the meantime, I don't know that I have a good workaround to recommend.

Glad you could find the source of the problem. I just use the Alpha for testing, so I'm fine.
