Every so often I run into an interpretive issue where I end up going through my commentaries one by one to try to find the best explanations.
I found my answer but then I continued on for a bit to look at some other books that I highly value that got pushed down my prioritized list over the years.
I ran across The Expositor;s Bible which really, really constantly inspired and instructed me in my early years in ministry. The author was Alexander MacClaren who also wrote on the rest of the Bible. But his works didn't show up in my passage guide under commentaries, which the books were categorized under. I even prioritized near the top, and they still didn't show up in the guide.
Several years ago, in a similar case, a user posted a long list of books that failed to show up in the results listings.
Is anybody working on these? Am I missing something here?
