I keep trying to open Logos and it just waits forever doing nothing. I restarted my computer, which installed an update (Windows 10 Pro), but still Logos won't start. It was working fine earlier today. Any ideas why?
There appears to be a bug with the newest engine (which I assume you ended up downloading today) causing some windows users troubles. Some have found relief by loading to a blank layout (press and hold the control key immediately upon startup). You may need to enable and post logs. See my signature line.
Thanks! I actually just saw another thread here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/154779.aspx?PageIndex=1
I'll leave this up for anyone to link to it. Some people are unable to hold down Ctrl while the program starts and it opens to blank work space, which you can set up from scratch, but not using layouts, which will cause a crash. I was able to do this... so far.
My Logos 7 is doing the same!
We are working on an update that should fix this, but so will installing .NET 4.7.1. You can do so from either link below. This will require a reboot of the computer to take effect.

Is there a corresponding fix for macs?

This should now be working with 7.11 SR-1.
