Sir/Ma'am,
I am using Logos 7 on a Mac, but the text comparison tool won't populate for a given passage. Any chance you can help?
Many thanks,
PJ
Best guess: Text Comparison uses the FIRST Bible to check for a verse. If you're first Bible is missing that verse, zippo.
Example: an OT first Bible, but an NT verse. Zippo.
That happens to me a lot.
And, welcome to the forums! May be another cause too.
Here is a screenshot of the set up for my Text Comparison panel.
Does yours look something like this?
If not please show us a screen shot of your panel. (Cmd Shift 4 is your friend for screen shots - use the paper clip in the message bar to attach).
Welcome [:D]
Curious what passage ?
Another possibility is Interlinear that needs online connection plus currently only usable in New Testament
Interlinear Text Comparison example using a collection of Bibles:
FYI: have NRSV first to enable Text Comparison of Verses in deuterocanonical books.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Why is the Interlinear currently only usable in the NT?

The work hasn't been done for the OT. In September Andrew didn't know when it might happen - https://community.logos.com/forums/p/148263/921638.aspx#921638
Thanks, Graham!
I am having the same problem. No matter what passage I put in the text comparison tool (OT or NT), the text comparison tool does not populate.
Does anyone have any ideas what I am doing incorrectly ? I am using Verbum 7 on a Mac.
Thank you !
Lisa
Strange indeed Lisa
I couldn't find the precise resources that you are trying to use but these must be similar.
BTW I am still struggling with the user interface for Text Comparison - it rarely does what I expect it to do and choosing resources is pretty hit and miss for me.
Thank you for your response. It is nice to know I am not the only one struggling with the interface. I wound up restarting the software and was able to get it to show the multiple resources but then the next time it did not. So it seems to be hit or miss.
Could this be a platform dependent problem? I'm Windows 10 Surface Pro 3. No Problems noted!?

Perhaps these tips might help (or the wiki as a whole).
