Thesaurus and Alliteration for Sermon Points
After three plus years of preaching would like to add a little polish to those sermons. I am rather intrigued by those sermons with bullet points that use alliteration or words beginning with same letter. It seems to be a good way holding the congregation’s attention without be overly theatrical or boisterous. Obviously a good thesaurus is the place to start. Any recommendations, resources, tips, etc. for perfect points from you polished practitioners of the preaching profession?

Butler's Analytical Biblical Expositor has outlines for passages in alliteration form. This resource is a commentary obn the whole bible.

III. Appropriate: I liked the theological character. I do wish it was a little more....
IV. Affordable: but it is not a deal breaker and I’ll give it some serious....

I don't know your theological bent or the part of the world where you live, but the prominent "alliterers" in my mind would be Adrian Rogers or Warren Wiersbe. Wiersbe so appreciates alliteration that his initials are WWW. https://www.logos.com/products/search?Author=16569%7cWarren+W.+Wiersbe
