I have a question about citation (specifically Turabian, but that's not critical), from the Lexham Bible Guides.
For example, let's say I'm looking at Jonah 1:17. and I read about Sasson's thoughts in the AYBC. I like what he says and I want to quote him in my paper. Normally, I would just go to the original material and quote directly from that. However, in this case, I don't own Sasson's AYBC. How would I cite this? Logos cites it as:
Wendy Widder, Jonah, ed. Douglas Mangum and Elizabeth Vince, Lexham Bible Guide (Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press, 2017), Jon 1:17.
But that doesn't seem specific enough. Especially if I'm saying something like "In the Anchor Yale Bible Commentary on Jonah, Sasson thinks the 'three days and three nights expression....'"
Does anyone have any experience with correct citation with these Bible Guides?
