Is it possible to put Logos onto an external hard drive. i am trying to open up more space on my Mac.
Welcome [:D]
Logos wiki has => Install in different folder or drive
Personally using a mid 2011 MacBook Air (MBA) with 128 GB internal SSD (25.5 GB free) and 128 GB USB (with 81.02 GB of Resources and 4.65 GB of WebCache). Caveat: have learned to carry MBA carefully since quick exit from car provided previous USB drive an opportunity to split up into several pieces. Internal SSD has 26.45 GB in Logos4 folder with adequate free space for indexing; Library index is 19.19 GB so ~21 GB is used when Library Index is duplicated plus temporary index files. Total space used for my Logos 7.11 is 112.12 GB (plus .52 GB for application bundle). Thankful this unsupported configuration works reliably for me.

To sum up KS4J - Yes, but it is unsupported.
In addition, performance could take a hit. It would be best to figure out something else to unload. How large is your drive? What kind of drive/mac?
