I.e. you're on a passage guide page that has a million windows and tabs open... you're done... the only way I can see right now to shut everything down is to close every tab in every window one by one. Or perhaps I'm missing another way?
Thanks!
Type "Close All" into the command line. Or type it an then drag a command to the shortcut bar. It'll save you a lot of time.
Carmen,
There is a way....
Just type "close all" (without the quotes) in the command bar....and that will close all open windows.
also you can do this:
Type "close all" BUT DON'T HIT THE ENTER KEY...
Highlight the "close all" and drag it to your tool bar...it becomes an icon and you can now just push the button anytime you want to close everything in a hurry.
WOW COOL! That was NIFTY. So where do I go to learn more about this Command window and what we can do with it? I've seen it there and wondered but now's as good a time as any to do some learning!
Thanks guys![:D]

Well aren't you folks just a gold mine of info! THANKS!
<insert sounds of Carmen typing all sorts of commands madly into the command box just to see what happens!>

Careful Carmen, that random typing of commands thing can lead to beta addiction.
Trust me, I know of which I speak.
(O and did you know that you can drag most commands from the popup and anchor them on your icon bar as icons? )
Carmen, if you haven't discovered it already, type Facilitate Serendipitous Discovery in the command box. It will bring up a random resource in your library! I love that one!
..., type Facilitate Serendipitous Discovery...

That command had to have been developed by someone with serious Cobol withdrawals...
I'm not sure I saw this in the posts above so I thought I would throw it out there. Ctr + W closes the current window, Ctrl + Shift + W closes all window. I knew about the Ctr Shift existing but didn't start using it until Morris Proctor plugged it during the Camp Logos.
