Historical church documents - or PBB's soon

By this I mean as many official statements from as many denominations as possible. On another thread I had an interesting exchange on when the canon was set and whether or not all books in the canon were divinely inspired. The answer was that I was wrong - Byzantine ecumenical council has taken a stance that I was unaware of. (This stance strengthens the Protestant view of the deuterocanonicals while muddying the waters as to what constitutes the canon - they approved six).
It would have been ever so nice if Mark and I had been able to do searches within Logos to find the relevant information. While this particular document may be a bit esoteric the fact is that Anglican, Lutheran, Mennonite, Presbyterian, etc. documents would be a great deal of help. Several position papers, creeds etc. directly reflect Bible interpretation so these do fall within the main stream of Logos.
If Logos doesn't wish to do this, I would like us (the users) to work cooperatively to get documents into PBB format - there is enough breadth of belief and interests we ought to be able to do a good job. We'd need to agree to a set of conventions and a way to publish them without creating thousands of resources but I think it's doable.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Martha,
It sounds like a good idea. Something like a WIKI that could be edited and re-arranged into one large community edited book of Historical Church documents?
We would need:
1) A general editor to be in charge of the whole project
2) specific goals
3) defined conventions for exactly how each submission (chapter) is constructed
- This is dependant on whatever schema Logos uses for PBB
- What must be tagged, etc. What is minimally acceptable.
4) A community place to build and edit such a repository.
Using basic HTML Instead of WIKI I already have the technology for building HTML "Books" running on my website. Feel free to take a look at the "Series" section and envision any number of sister and sub documents.
IOW, I'm offering stilltruth to be the repository and editing platform - but you will NOT hurt my feelings if you have something else in mind. Nor do I particularly crave the task of general editor.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
