collections search
Hi,
I am about to get an iPad and was wondering (1) if the Logos iPad app allows one to conduct a basic search and choose your pre-defined collections so the search is focused on a section of your library.(2) I assume one can do a basic search of the entire library and (3) sort the search results by book as well as by rank?
If anyone can provide some insight on this it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

The only collection that I can find that it searches through is a collection called "Top Bibles."

Thanks for your reply.
So it seems you can't search your commentaries or other resources (only can search top bibles)? So the only indirect search of your other resources would be if they are commentaries that come up in a passage guide search?

You can search any book, just not a collection of books at once outside of Top Bibles

Wait I take that back. I never tried to really search through a collection before, but I guess you can search your collections. Open Logos on the iPhone, click on search, and then Entire Library. Now you can choose different collections to search through.

Speaking of the collections search function in the iPhone, how long does it take to sync with the desktop installation? It's been a few days since I added new collections, I they still aren't showing up. And I know I have books on the iPhone that would fall into those new collections.

Within 5 minutes my iPhone showed a few of my collections, then later all of them. I have had my collection in L4 for quite some time. I don't know why it is acting this way.
