A17 crashing upon opening

I see several others posting similar messages. On start up the following takes place:

1) "Signing In" screen appears

2) Library screen comes up and it begins loading "new resources" and "library results." After three or four new resources are listed, but well before completing the entire list, the app shuts down.

Is A18 going to fix this issue?

I can see the error in the logs, but it's not immediately obvious what the root cause is.

You might be able to rename your layouts.db to get the application to start up. It looks like the application is crashing somewhere while opening a bunch of tabs from your last layout.

Your layouts.db is in /Users/mikemccabe/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/eu8obd5q.xxk/LayoutManager. Just rename this file to something like layouts.db_orig and restart.

A18 should be out early next week and hopefully whatever problem you're having will have been fixed.

I'm having the same problem trying to open A17. My concern about A18 fixing the glitch is that updated seem only to come when Logos is running on my Mac. So if A17 is preventing it from running, how do we get more updates please?

I don't see "LayoutManager" in the eu8obd5q.xxk folder. There is downloadmanager, keylinkmanager, licensemanager, resourcemanager, reverseinterlinearmanager, and updatemanager.

Hi Mike,

You have misread the instructions (or at least I think you have because I can't actually see them now.

Try User/Library/Application Support/Logos 4/ Documents/Some Random Number/ Layout Manager/Layouts.db

The emphasis here should be on the directory between 'Logos 4' and 'some random number'.
