I was curious if Logos ever plans to add in a newer version of the Oxford English Dictionary. From the logos page, the only one offered is the 11th edition and that was from 2004.
The recent blog post made me think of it: https://blog.logos.com/2017/12/5-words-youre-probably-not-getting-christmas-story/
13 years is a long time! But I'd go for maybe 2,000 years .... that'd be ok (technically 3-400 years).
Today, I was hot on the trail of Philo of Byblos (which Logos offers almost nothing on). In any event, Anchor was going to town, trying to destroy him as best they could, using really long religious words. None of which I had any source for. I had to use 'context'. Ha, sounds familiar.
As big as Logos libraries are, Logos should have a decent english dictionary. Or dictionary of technical religious/social terms. I do ok with not-english lookups. Even non-english relgious terms. It's english, where I have to reach for google.

Merriam-Webster 11th ed. is from 2003
2004 is quite recent compared to other resources...
The recent blog post made me pine for having the full Oxford English Dictionary available.
'The authoritative and exhaustive Oxford English Dictionary (OED), the only dictionary that traces the full history of English rather than merely describing its current state, gives weight to that second possibility.'
