PLEASE HELP! A17 Biblical People, Places and Things Don't work

When I first updated to A17 my Biblical People, Places and Things worked wonderfully. Then suddenly when I opened L4 and ran the same Passage Guide (Daniel 1:1-21) They stopped working. Maps show up, the people trees show up, but not the graphics and other items. I deleted L4 and redownloaded and installed it. Same thing, none of them show up, and only the maps and a limited number of people trees. I am not sure why they stopped.

If someone could help me figure out what to do I would appreciate it. I am working on a presentation for my church, and wanted to use some graphics. Now I can't even get the pictures. Thanks!

Hi - It sounds like you're trying to access these resources through the 'Passage Guide' rather than the 'Tools' menu. Am I right?

If so, it could be that these particular sections of the Passage Guide are hidden. On the screenshot below Biblical Places is open, but Biblical people is not. If I were to click where the red arrow is pointing, then I would see the items that relate to this passage:

Another possible solution would be to open 'Biblical People' 'Biblical Places' or 'Biblical Things' from the 'Tools' menu and enter a Bible passage as a search term. Please see the example below from Biblical People:

Thank you for your help. They did at one time work in the Passage Guide. However I also have tried to do it through the tools menu, and nothing comes up. i've done it with a person or thing that I know has data, because I've got the graphic in a Keynote presentation. Thanks for the help, is this a bug, I just don't know why it worked (wasn't hidden in A17, and now is). Is there something else I should try.

Since Biblical People, Places, and Things have known memory leaks; wonder about restarting Mac and trying again ?

I tried restarting my Mac, same thing. They all had pictures before, and they seemed to have disappeared. Here are some screenshots.

If anyone knows of why the images may have disappeared I would appreciate the help.

Philana - It might be worth checking whether resources containing images are still in your Library. I don't know what image resources you should have, but items in my library such as '1000 Bible Images' and 'The Bible and its Story' open as a series of images. If the resources you expect are not in your Library, then check the 'Hidden Resources' in 'Program Settings' - a new feature of A17 was the ability to hide resources.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work. In fact I have Alpha 17, but cannot unhide resources or hide them. I know some things are missing like a diagram of Herod's temple. If anyone know why the hiding feature doesn't work, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Thanks!

In A17 you can hide but you cannot do the reverse!

(unless you are running the windows Beta in parallel.

Now ins A18 - well who knows ...

Devs haven't posted the release notes yet, but A18 is released. Have you updated? And if so are you still not able to see Biblical Places? If this still occurs with A18, could you take logs of you trying to open it and post them? Instructions are linked from my signature.

Thank you for your help, I have A18 and it works. I think what happened is I needed to let it finnish Indexing. After it had completed Indexing it worked.
