Bug 7.12 Beta 2 Bible Word Study change from English word to Latin lemma

Cannot reproduce. Do you have Latin lexicons prioritized?

In your screenshot the Latin lemma is selected (its in the darker blue) arrowing down would select the English and then clicking the arrow would work. Also when I click on the English word without using the arrow keys it does populate with the English word. Can you try using the up/down arrows to confirm its working?

Closed Logos 7.12 Beta 2

Opened to blank layout (program setting)

Open Bible Word Study (BWS) followed by waiting for drop down suggestions to populate:

Captured screen shot, switched to forum for picture attachment.

Switched back to Logos 7.12 Beta 2 followed by clicking BWS arrow:

Since wine was not highlighted, BWS changed to first suggestion in drop down list, which is now highlighted:

In BWS, typing wine followed by using arrow to select wine (4th entry in suggestion list) does work (while feeling like an annoying bug).

FYI: still dreaming of option to disable automatic search assistant (annoying wait to populate in many places plus this "buggy" BWS behavior).

Logos Help untransliteration mentions Greek (g:), Hebrew (h:), and Aramaic (a:).

Joy did not suggest a Latin lemma, but vine did:

Untransliteration is a mechanism to allow you to use latin characters to enter a word from a language that uses a non-latin character set. Since Latin uses latin characters, there is no mechanism to support latin untransliteration.

This is also why both Latin lemmas and English words are displayed in the suggestion list when you enter an English word.

I've created a case to consider prioritizing English words over Latin lemmas, as this is likely to be beneficial to a much larger number of people than the current ordering.

The auto-complete suggestions takes no consideration of what resources you have in your library. This is because even if you don't have a resource tagged with Latin morphology, there are still sections which could return results for Latin lemmas (even if it's as limited as right clicking on the lemma and opening it up in the Perseus web tool or sending the lemma to the Media tool).

Please consider user option for prioritizing order of:

English words
Latin lemmas
Biblia Hebraica Transcripta lemmas

Depends on how Logos/Verbum is being used for most useful order (similar to Guide template suggestion for Right Click contextual ordering, where current ordering of sections alphabetically annoyingly needs scrolling to useful section)

Oh, I was wrong on this. The suggested lemmas do take into account which resources you have in your library. So, your statement is correct. Both are displayed, provided that you own resources tagged with Latin lemmas.

Bible Word Study Settings show list of Bibles that is quite different than my prioritizations.

It looks to me like the list is alphabetized by resource title.
