I have not been able to get into logos for about two weeks now because it just tells me that its preparing the library and it will do it for hours when i let it.
what do i do?
Download the Latest alpha at www.logos.com/Logos4mac. If that link doesn't work, use the link from the A 17 release notes posted at the top of this forum
I have the same issue with A17.
Have you posted your logs as described by Joe Miller in his post 'Guide to Reporting Bugs' (see the link in my signature, below)? If not, please do, then the Logos developers can try to understand what the problem is and offer a solution.

I have had the same issue with A16 - for me, if I just close the program (right-click on the icon in the dock->Quit - it should exit cleanly without have to force quit or anything) and re-open it everything's fine again. Has been a recurring issue though.

In order for any of us to be of any help you need to upgrade to the latest version, Alpha 17 at the moment and soon to be Alpha 18 if you wait till some time on Monday.
Alpha 16 had problems and had to be upgraded within 24 hours of release.
Please use the link in the post 'Alpha 17 release notes' which you will find at the top of the forum list.
If this does not sort out your problems then come back to us.
