Prioritization on web adds duplicates on desktop

I pulled up my prioritization list on desktop and found I'm quite fond of the ESV. This shouldn't be possible and I couldn't recreate it on desktop as it won't add more than one copy. It then occurred to me it might be mobile or web apps since I'd done testing there, changing things. I was able to reproduce this by selecting a bible for the Open Your Bible tile on the home page, even selecting the same bible already selected adds a duplicate to the prioritization table.

Indeed, looks like you very much prefer the ESV ;) Thanks, Randy, we've made a case to correct this. Appreciate you investigating what the cause was, makes it a lot easier for us!

On the mobile app, this issue goes way back, maybe to v4. It seems to come and go. I posted on this once or twice but don't remember when exactly, but it hasn't been completely resolved. At the time, I do remember it involving the KJV, but would not happen with the Authorized Version.

Thanks for looking in to it, David. Do you mean correcting it so that it doesn't create duplicate entries or so that it doesn't use the same prioritization table as desktop?

FWIW: Just want to mention again in this thread what I briefly mentioned in the other, I'm concerned about the Mobile app and the Web app (they both share this same bug/behavior) when either of them touch the prioritization table that desktop uses. Unless that table is very simple then the change made by web/mobile will break the prioritization created in the desktop in obvious and more subtle ways with advanced prioritizations, because it moves the selected bible to the very top of the list ahead of any advanced prioritizations. I don't see a way that they both can use the same list without potentially causing breakage. Shouldn't they have a prioritization setting independent of the desktop?
