Why, when I hover my mouse over either the Bible Browser or the Concordance TOOLS under REFERENCE while using the Desktop version of Logos 7.0 (on my Windows 7 laptop) does it state "This tool is currently unavailable"?
If you click on those greyed out menu options it will bring up an explanation, a link to help, and a nice video to demonstrate the features (most have videos). Perfect!
Except that it doesn't say a thing about why you don't have the feature and your various options to get them. I know you can click though on the video to see a little bit next to the video on what base package has it, when there is a video, but that isn't obvious from within Logos, and not all have videos (Psg Analysis, Pronunciation). Surely, there should be more explicit info on options to get the feature? I thought that was the point of including the greyed out entries, to show people what they are missing and give them options for obtaining them? Can we get a list of options when clicking greyed out menus, eg:
This feature is included in:
- <link>Logos 7 Base packages above Gold</link>
- <link>Logos Now</link>
- <link>Essential Upgrade (M)</link>
- <link>Full Feature Set</link>
It's also not obvious that you can or should click on the greyed out menu items. Most people are trained that clicking on greyed options does nothing. A message in the tooltip might be helpful: This tool is currently unavailable. Click for more info.
Thanks.
