Adding a section to the Passage Guide

I have a passage guide that I previously created and use as part of my layout. There is another section (a collection) that I want to add to that passage guide, but when I bring up my layout and then add that collection to the PG and then tell the layout to save the current layout and then close; when I go back that section is not in the passage guide any longer. Is there somewhere else that I need to go in order to make that be a permanent addition? Thanks!

Edit your custom passage guide template, and add the new section to it. This will make that change available to your layout which uses that custom passage guide.
