Passage location and linking
Bible app 6.0.5, Android 7.0, Galaxy A5 (2017) - Scroll View
Some examples when scrolling LEB (Text size 1 below default, min. line spacing, NOT linked)
Passage Location Visible Passages
Jn 1:29 - 40 --> 1:32 - 39
Jn 1:30 - 41 --> 1:33 - 39
Jn 1:37 - 2:1 --> 1:37 - 43
Jn 1:35 - 46 ---> 1:37 - 43 (manually adjusted from a different position)
Some examples when scrolling ESV (Text size 1 below default, min. line spacing, linked to BKC)
Passage Location Visible Passages BKC Location BKC Visible Passages
Mt 3:17 - 4:8 --> 4:1 - 6 (long verse) 3:15 - 4:2 3:16-17 (poor alignment in BKC)
Mt 4:11 - 22 ---> 4:13 - 19 4:5 - 11 4:8 - 11 (poor alignment in BKC)
Mt 4:22 - 5:8 ---> 4:22 - 5:2 4:23 - 5:12 4:24-25 (poor alignment in BKC)
Mt 5:1 - 13 --> 5:2 - 12 ch 5 - 7 5:1 - 12 (reasonable alignment)
The ESV, LEB passage location can vary with the same visible passages. It would appear that BKC aligns to the (incorrect) ESV passage location.
On the same phone the ESV passage location is accurate when scrolling in Vyrso 5.16.0. And the alignment with BKC is as accurate as it can be.
EDIT: When not in Scroll view Passage Location is accurate as is alignment with BKC.
Attempting page to page in Scroll view via a finger "upward flip" is not accurate as the continuation can be several lines from the top.
