I am trying to clean up my hard drive using Omnidisksweeper. My largest Library file is called Logos4. I am using Logos 6 on my computer. Can I delete the logos4 files? Thanks
Can I delete the logos4 files?
No! And you should upgrade to Logos 7 for free https://www.logos.com/ways-to-get-logos
If logos4 is being used by Logos 6, then deleting folder should cause your resources to be downloaded and indexed the next time Logos 6 is used. Also concur with free upgrade to Logos 7 since Logos 6 is no longer supported => https://www.logos.com/support/free-support
Logos wiki => Quick Installation onto multiple computers includes default installation paths for Logos 4, 5, 6, and 7 on Windows. New Windows installations now use Logos without version number.
Logos wiki => Quick Installation onto multiple computers includes resource paths, which includes Logos4 for all Logos versions on macOS and OS X.
FYI: my 2011 MacBook Air has 128 GB internal SSD and 128 GB external USB, which is using unsupported => Relocate your Resources folder for 81.25 GB of Resource files on USB. Internal SSD has 26.56 GB in Logos4 folder plus adequate free space for duplication of Library index. Thankful for macOS 10.12.6 upgrade from OS X 10.10.5 that reduced internal SSD usage by several GB (waiting on Apple to fix Mail display issue with Intel HD Graphics 3000 in macOS 10.13 before considering upgrade to High Sierra).
Keep Smiling [:)]
