I've opened multiple taps in the Study Bible app so I can have multiple study bibles open in split screens (Bible/Notes). However, the notes are only syncing with the Bible on one of the tabs. Has anyone worked out how to sync split screens?
Do you mean that you want the split screens in tab A to sync with each other and the split screens in tab B to sync with each other as opposed to all four syncing together?
If so, I don’t believe this is possible,
And this would be better in the mobile apps forum.
Graham
Correct. Split screens in tab A to sync with each other and the split screens in tab B to sync with each other, etc.
Sorry - you can do this on the desktop but not in the mobile apps. It would be a nice addition, though[:)]
Thanks Graham. It does it by default in the original split screen, but not the additional ones.
Not sure what you mean here. Surely in “the originsl” it is just syncing all linked panels which is what happens if you link more in.
Or am i missing your point?
The first tab is synced between the Bible and study notes in the split screen. Each additional tab is not synced between the split screens.
The first tab is the Lexham Bible and Faithlife study Bible. Not sure if that's significant or whether it's as simple as the first tab will always default to synching between the 2 screens.
Sorry now I’m confused!
In the screenshot below all the resource are synched
Are you seeing something different?
The Lexham Bible and Study notes which are in the same tab using the split screen are synced together.
The following tabs with other Bibles and Study notes are not synced. So the NIV Bible and NIV study Bible Notes are not synced with one another. Same for NLT and study notes, NKJV and study notes, etc aren't synced together in each tab. As an aside each Bible is not synced with the Lexham Bible tab, although that wasn't my original question.
My question is has anyone found a way to sync the upper and lower split screen in each tab. It works for one tab, so I'm hoping I can sync the upper the lower split screens in other tabs too. If the individual tabs all synced as well that would be even better, but not my main concern.
My question is has anyone found a way to sync the upper and lower split screen in each tab.
Yes - using the same method for linking tabs (Graham's screen shot shows how they appear in landscape - when you rotate the phone).
But you can't link them independently of other tabs (with/without split screen). This is where we need the Linkset A, B, C etc of the desktop app.
I can now see the sync symbol in the bottom right of the screen which brings up the option to sync all screens and tabs. Thanks.
This is where we need the Linkset A, B, C etc of the desktop app.
Yes! Please!
