Logos 7 Hangs during start

Hi!

Long time user of Logos (all the way back to V4). Now started getting a hang - program will not start. No spinning beachball - no indexer starting. Nothing. Followed the instructions to reload the application and check writing permissions from this page:

Mac OS: 10.13.2 (updated in early Dec but I have used Logos 7 since the update with no problems).

Have attached log file captured when attempting to start the program.

Sorry you are experiencing difficulty. The Indexer.log show that Logging is not enabled.

Please enable logging in the Logos Logging Utility, make another attempt at starting Logos, and repost logs.

BTW—Have you tried opening to a blank layout? Click the Logos icon in the Dock and immediately hold down the Command key until you see the Login screen, then select Sign In or Work Offline. This will open Logos to a blank layout and eliminate a corrupted layout as the culprit.

You were absolutely correct in that I had a corrupted layout and your start up technique allowed the program to start properly.

In the category of "oh yeah, now I remember..." I had a RED "!" inside the layout circular arrow icon yesterday and tried clicking it a few times to no avail and dismissed it. Should have just changed to a different one or deleted it. So, I had a sneak preview that an issue was coming and didn't adequately address when I had the chance.

Don't be too hasty about deleting a layout—That red i may just represent a temporary problem in communication; sometimes that red i indicates a problem with your internet connection or with Logos' servers. I also had a temporary red i last week—may have been Saturday. You apparently had a corrupted layout, which may or may not have been related to that red i.
