Every so often I pretend I'm going to get excited about Logos. I get frustrated again, and lose total interest. I come here and post my frustrations, and 9 times out of 7, I'm told I can manually update and sync-- which, as well intended as that is, that does not solve the issue. I decided this time to demonstrate my frustration, and reinquire on what was mentioned once before: a streamlined updating process? I for one of many would love to see this actually happen. Frankly, I am so annoyed with technology over the past several years. MS has Tuesday update. and that ALWAYS occurs when I need to utilize my computer. The printer has to update, almost always when I have to scan documents to the attorney or when I have to use it, immediately. The list goes on. And of course, there's Logos. Every time theres a correction, addition, update for whatever reason, Logos HAS to synchronize. Quite frankly, if I could I'd shut the dang thing off completely. Maybe when L8,9 and 10 come out, let it sync then. But, that defeats the purpose. So, the dilemma is, deal with or, or, just forget the whole thing? Neither sound like a viable answer.
Now this is the Suggestions folder, and I do come bearing a suggestion. It won't fix everything, but, IF it's even possible, it would save hours. Yes, many hours. According to my order history I added the freebie items to my cart at about 4:15pm it is now 1:45am and its synchronizing AGAIN! Why? Because there was an update that couldnt be updated until after the initial sync took place. It finally finished, and updated, and is now syncing again. So, the suggestion IF possible, can we please program the updates to update without the syncing until the updates have updated? And, the question about the streamlining must come back to the forefront.
Yes, my laptop is old, and recently become more and more frustrating. But, I have a newer laptop, which I'll deal with tomorrow, but, I honestly don't expect a huge improvement.
sorry to bring this up again, but, Im getting the feeling Logos is gonna be the cause of me losing my salvation, (Its a joke people. So laugh, or ignore it
