L4 pulled down the LEB and after it restarted it proceed to Index. It has crashed twice now.

It crashed in the bible Index. I'd like you to delete the following folder and then restart L4 (note that these are hidden files/folders):-
C:\Users\sclark\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\2td2mqe3.amr\BibleIndex\
If it crashes again please submit the crash.txt file as well as the logs.
Dave,
did as you instructed (deleted BibleIndex folder). Started L4 and it started indexing (went on for some time), then it crashed again (sorry for using so much of your time).

I was hoping it would get through Bible Indexing but that did not happen. I think it best to uninstall and re-install using Method 3 at http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers i.e.
I think it best to uninstall and re-install using Method 3 at http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers i.e. Save the \Resources folder (move to another folder outside the Logos4 folder is quickest) Uninstall L4 only and remove the Logos4 folder Install as per Method 3

Followed instructions. Still failed indexing about an hour and a half into indexing.
Cut/Pasted Resource folder to \Documents\Temp\Resources
Uninstalled L4
Deleted AppData\Local\Logos4
Installed L4 per link in wiki link above
Followed wiki instructions precisely.
This is not looking good. Would have thought that Logos would have indexing working by now...

It's still crashing after indexing the bibles (Bible Index only). What do you see in the Bible index folder at C:\Users\sclark\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\szfxzyfg.zuu\BibleIndex? Very puzzling.
Also, the Indexer is pulling in 40 extra files from 'C:\Program Files\Libronix DLS\Resources\ which are Targums like CALTGCGA.lbxlls (you can see these in the log). These files weren't in the previous bible index of 77 files vs 117 in the latest. The only CALTGC* in the previous index was CALTGCHRON.logos4
There doesn't seem to be a resource problem as they all indexed OK. This looks like being a Tech Support issue....
What do you see in the Bible index folder at C:\Users\sclark\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\szfxzyfg.zuu\BibleIndex?
There is a LibraryIndex.db database file + 5 other Index.xxx files
These were hidden in my previous install.
Restarted windows after posting and making sure all Logos files were closed. After reboot, indexing started again (looks like stage 3 Indexing). Will let it continue. If it crashes again in the morning, then i will call tech support. Otherwise i will see how L4 runs (do some searches on Bibles, and Basic search on 'the' ). Figure if it works through that, then it may be OK. What do you think?
That's OK. You could peek into the logos4Indexer.log file and look for mention of libraryindex after the last bibleindex to know it has gone past the bible index.
Yes, there are quite a few LibraryIndexes after the last BibleIndex.

Thanks Very Much for your help!
Have a good day [:)]
about bedtime here...
Goodnight, let me know tomorrow!
Seemed to work OK, no crash overnight.
The downside, i lost all my Favorites, Bookmarks, Tags, Collections, Layouts, Notes, etc. Tried to use Sync now, but no luck. Then i remembered that i had cut Logos4 folder (after uninstalling it). So i exited L4 and then renamed the folder Logos4 temporarily (AppData's Logos4). Then i used the Restore under the recycle bin to restore my old Logos4 folder and renamed it. Then renamed my new Logos4 back. Then i was able to copy my Bookmarks, Favorites, Layouts, Notes, but lost my tagging and collections. But since i have a new library db, i was reluctant to try and overwrite anything which had to do with the library (but i had screen shots of all my library tagging which i had sent to my son late last month). Seems that Sync in 4.0b is not very reliable. i called tech support, but they were unable to give me any help with collections/tagging restoration.
It would be nice if we were able to force a Sync just prior to reinstalling. And that we could get some kind of info from the cloud as to what it thought it had. So far i am not impressed with Sync (i have only one computer with L4 so i have no feedback as to what is Sync'd, my desktop is a Win2K box which can't run L4).
Thanks again for your help

Please explain, Logos tech support, why Steve lost tagging and collections and Sync would not restore them from the Cloud. I don't get it.
I know L4 is designed to sync our user data and then make it accessible to an L4 installation even on another computer we use. Or am I wrong in that thought process? This is important to me because I do want to shift totally over to L4 but am dragging my feet using version three because I do not want to spend hours defining collections and tagging (I can't wait to use tagging [:P]) but I do not want to have to lose hours and repeat my work. I don't have that kind of time. This is not a complaint; I love Logos and want to use it to its potential for my workflow. Is there a way to back up tagging and collections?
Thanks! I appreciate all your help.
Hmmmm....about 6 hours since starting this morning, my Collections, Tag, & Ratings have just now showed up. Hope i haven't messed up some of them during that long span.
This must have happened with the last 45 minutes as i've been resetting up my priorites and collections. i now see duplicates of the few collections that i have rebuilt.

That is interesting since I've observed from logs that metadata is on a 6 hour schedule. Collections usually come when you start doing something. There is a confirmed case with Logos at http://wiki.logos.com/Bug$3a_L4_failing_to_sync_documents
Thanks again for your help. My system is back to normal, yeah. Just in time for me to start my grandkids lesson for tomorrow.
