NT313: Jesus and the Witness of the Outsiders - Question about Perseus collection

I am doing the study of NT313: Jesus and the Witness of the Outsiders.  This study recommends that you download the Perseus Classic Collection and the Perseus Internet collection for the Clippings file that they want you to setup.  My question is - I do not know any Hebrew and only a very little Greek.  Are these mainly in another language?  If so, I don't want to download them.

What do you know about these collections?  Will I regret downloading them, especially if I can't read them.

First, I don't recommend the Perseus resources for users with smaller libraries. If you have larger library then the Perseus resources won't be the main part of the library. That being said, there are almost an English resource for any other language resource in the collection. My Hebrew and Greek gets stronger every year and I hope one day to be able to read other resources in Hebrew and Greek to include Perseus. Not all stuff in Perseus is bad. I love the civil war resources in Perseus sometimes told by authors from the era. When are you doing Greek and Hebrew word studies it is always helpful to use Tufts to get more from the study which comes with Perseus. I will say again though, the Perseus collections together and very large and if you have a smaller library then most of your library will be Perseus and it gets in the way. It might be a better idea for you to request the bibliography from someone in the class with Perseus instead of downloading the collections to your system. Some people may love Perseus and have no problems. At the time I acquired it, my experience was it was in the way because it took over my library. Now, it is a very small footprint in my library.
