Text Comparison Feature Causing Shut Down Fix?

Anyone experiencing a problem with the text comparison tool? Every time I click on it the software crashes. I currently running Logos 7 with a high end Macbook with the latest OS installed. (It was happening before I installed the latest OS as well.) I've run Logos 5, 6, and now 7 and have never really experienced any significant problems.
