I am building a computer which will be used in real time streaming. It is fully dedicated to logos and not the streaming. It does nothing else. Its only purpose is to run logos 7 for a live stream and then send that stream to another computer.
please assume that the library is large
the graphics are pushed to the limits logos allows
the computer will be operated by different experts with lots of logos experience ....
lots of original language study
lagging will show up in a real time stream .... so, speed is very important.
The computer will be intel based and to maintain compatibility with the other computers in the studio the processor will be intel skylake and the graphics card will be an nvidia
This computer doesn't need to do anything other than handle anything and everything logos can throw at it instantly.
How many cores will do the trick.... the 8 core 17-7820x, the 10 core 19-7900x or even the 18 core 19-7980xe??? The goal is to give logos everything it can use but not waste a penny on any extra capacity.
the nvidia card we have initially chosen is the 1080ti because it is what the other computers in the studio use.... if it is too much please also tell me.
How much RAM is just right for a large ever growing logos library.
Thank you for ANY help.
This computer is just a little black box the sole purpose of which is to run logos in real time with zero strain.
Any advise is very appreciated. Don't want to guild the lilly but don't want anything compromised at all either.
