Bug: 7.12 Inconsistent appearance of MultiView tab resource names

Sometimes tabs display the short names for the MultiView resources:

Other times, tabs merely show a + sign.

This is apparently dependent on which resources are selected for MultiView. (For the LEB+, those resources were NICOT Jer NIC OT/NT series, and FSB.)

It would be helpful if the short names always appeared (provided that there is enough space to display the longer tab format). Thanks!

Incidentally, the long names also vary for the LEB:

The Lexham English Bible is shown when followed by a pipe character
Lexham English Bible is shown when followed by a plus character.

Series apparently are the cause for this inconsistency.

Perhaps the specific volume (or series name) could be displayed in the tab, instead of the short name of each volume in the series?

I never can tell which resource I'm looking at, with the commentaries. I'd have to literally rename them all, the titles are so similar. And clicking on the MV button to see what's being displayed doesn't help; it just shows what's potentially showable. I feel like it's spinning the wheel in Las Vegas (forgot the name of the wheel!).

One trick is hovering over a Multiview resource name, to see which commentary is used:

It's not perfect, as the popup doesn't mention that it's part of the NICOT series (unless the familiar cover tips you off), but it gets you partway there.

Well, that's good. I have the old Model-T version from a few months back. At least their designer woke up for a few minutes.
