ios version 5: Prayer items not working

I have been pushing the Faithlife Study Bible app for our church. There are some who have ios 9, therefore are on the last update to version 5.

Prayer items from the home page: when clicking on the item, it comes up with a blank pop-up window. no details.

Go to Tools: Prayers - prayer lists do not appear, or sometimes come up, but do not work. clicking Todays Prayers goes back to tools menu.

Is this something that will be fixed, or are these devices that run on this older version just out of luck?

And, do prayers work in the newer version 6 of the ios apps?
