May the Lord help this set go on sale for $50 again—on Logos
I.
Would.
Buy.
The volume on Romans is listed by Bestcommentaries.com in the top 5 of "Technical Commentaries". Just this week I had to have my seminary get it from another library via inter-library loan because the individual volumes are not available in Logos and I couldn't justify the full price for one volume. But at $50 I would have purchased from Logos and saved myself the hassle.
It is on sale in another Bible software for $50.
By the looks of many recent remarks on this board, it seems the competition is going after Logos based on pricing.

I noticed that! But I would rather have all my resources in one place. I’m considering it, though.

As you get older (whispering: “and wiser”), you will see that having everything in Logos is not really that important; especially, when you have to keep an eye on your spending. Then having 2 or 3 favorite Bible Softwares won’t seem like a bad idea anymore. 👍😁👌

...or that if it isn't in my price range in Logos, I might not need the resource after all. [;)]
I understand and can appreciate your philosophy. My primary use of Logos is as an integrated research library. If the book doesn't appear when I search, (in most cases) I might as well not have it. My secondary source is Kindle, but I very seldom make purchases any more in that format when the resource is one I would want in my Logos library. John Grisham can go into kindle. [:)]
I was fortunate enough to pick it up for a steal several years back. For the record, the "normal" price of $199 is well worth it for the quality of the commentaries. While there is some variation volume to volume (as with all series), they are overall an excellent NT commentary series that you will find helpful and use for many years to come.
