What would be the best way to search for all Bible verses, OT as well as NT, alluding to Jesus being the judge of the world?
I did wade through a few different searches on "judgment" and "judge" and "God as Judge" to find what I needed, but would still be interested to know if there is an easier way to search something like this out rather than going through hundreds of verses.
Edit: Not that wading through hundreds of verses is a bad thing, lol...
I'll walk you through my thought process that got me to a few interesting results.
I started with this search: <Person Jesus> INTERSECTS judge This finds places where text in the original language is tagged as referring to Jesus.
Then I opened one of the results in my Bible and right clicked on the highlighted word, and checked through the list of tagged information on the right side of the popup. Here I noticed the cultural concept Divine judgement. I clicked on that and then on the left side of the menu I selected Search this resource, and added my previous Jesus intersection, giving: <Person Jesus> INTERSECTS {Section <Culture Divine judgment>}This finds all the places where Jesus is mentioned in a section of the Bible that talks about Divine judgement.
This is usually a pretty good approach to complex searching. Find one valid example, then right click to discover what kind of tagging exists. Then modify your search to look for the additional tagging. Check these results for additional tags that might provide more results, and combine them using the list syntax: (tag1, tag2, tag3) Look for things in the same verse using AND. Look for tags on the same word using INTERSECTS.
