Jack did report something similar. Does this happen whether you are at the HomePage or just some other random layout you happen to have open?
Within a layout created with the Mac Engine. Hasn't happened again. If it does I'll pay more attention to the layout set up

Dave said in the thread that Jack started that the cause was a third party database we were in the process of phasing out but I'll make a case for this incase it is a different issue.
