I just went through all the atlases I have, scoured my library for maps on the whereabouts of Jesus in one gospel and found instead that nearly all I found are harmonisation of the different gospels. There is a place and need for that, of course. But it is also important for the study of individual gospels to be able to visualise geographical movement within it.
The Atlas tool does allow one to search by individual gospel, but the results are hit and miss and they are not even presented in order. It would need to be both supplemented and improved.
In any case, this is true not just about maps: the study of the gospels need to pass through a proper understanding of each individual gospel rather than premature harmonisation and we need more tools/materials that can allow us to do that.
