I like to use Comic Sans MS as my reading font. But the transliterated doesn't work well due to the marks. What is your favorite font to use that works well across the board?
Dewayne,
Normally I just use Arial.
I've tried them all but for readability, it's Arial. (and of course, like you mentioned, some fonts don't do the characters very well.)
Gill Sans... & Logos is still sans John Gill. [:'(]
What is your favorite font to use that works well across the board?
I like Ebrima:
It seems smooth, pleasing to the eye, nice to read, and so far, I have not found a glitch.
Garamond for me
Anyone having trouble reading the transliterations in the Dictionary of NT Background or Jesus and the Gospels for the Aramaic and Hebrew?
Not sure what you mean. Here are two examples from the Dictionary of Jesus and the Gospels:

I just remember running across it a few weeks back and since a fonts thread came up I responded. I will try to find an example.
