Available Resources for iPhone and iPad
A common request is the ability to see what titles are available for use on the iPhone and iPad. Here is what we have to help you. Also, please remember that in order to view a resource in the iPhone or iPad app, you must own a Logos 4 base package and the title you want to access.
Complete List of Available Titles:
We now have a complete text list of all the titles currently enabled for viewing on the iPhone and iPad. This page is updated weekly. http://www.logos.com/iphone/support/resourcelist
Product Pages:
When you do a search for a product on Logos.com, if the resource is enabled for viewing on the IPhone and iPad applications, it will display the iPhone enabled badge like the one below.
Faceted Browsing:
Our web development team is currently working to deliver faceted browsing on Logos.com. This means that you will have the ability to browse and search through Logos.com and filter your results to only show iPhone/iPad enabled resources. This feature is part of a larger project that involves some major overhauls to both the front and back end of our website. At this time, we don't have an ETA on when the functionality will be released, but we wanted to let you know that we have heard your requests and are working to deliver them as soon as possible.

Thanks for the update
I would appreciate if the some of the listings could be more specific (see below)
1 & 2 Chronicles
1 & 2 Kings
1 & 2 Samuel
1 and 2 Chronicles
1 and 2 Peter, Jude
1 and 2 Thessalonians
1 and 2 Thessalonians
1 and 2 Timothy
1 and 2 Timothy, Titus
1 Corinthians
1 Corinthiansthe above is not very helpful, providing the author, series, and publisher would make the list more useful

We are working on that. [:)]

Thanks for the list. I'd also add to the suggestions that when listing book titles, it's preferable to ignore A, An, and The.

A little off the thread topic, is there anyway you could please expedite these two CPH books for the iphone: Concordia Commentary: Luke and Confessions - The Reader's Edition. I know that Concordia has green lighted all their Logos resources for the iPhone app (the CPH editior responsible for it blogged about that) and both of these resources would be very useful to us Lutherans who follow the Church Year (Luke is the Gospel for this Church year). It seems that the Concordia Commentary on Luke was accidently overlooked, since every other book in that series is available except Luke.
Thank you for all your time and work.

Two large commentary sets still unavailable: WBC and Hermeneia. Any chance we'll see either one soon? Thanks!

The other one Michael is The LSB lectionary... yes, Paul McCain from CPH gave the green light, but we have not seen these and speaking with Northwestern
Publishing today, they indicate that they too have given the green light to all
of their books some months ago... but only a small handful have made it to the
Iphone. Sermons Studies collection all 11 books would be nice... currently only
1 of them is available. It really seems that many many books/publishers have given the go ahead to put their books on the Iphone... after some time of not seeing them are we to understand that you folks are so busy that you cant get too them, or is it something else?
thanks in advance for your reply.

Just for kicks I checked my iPhone today and noticed that my Norman Geisler library is now on. Also noticed that Wuest Word studies is there as well. Very welcome additions but I am desparately waiting for the Theological Journals as well as the Biblical Archeological Review and Bible and the Spade magazines to be there as well. With the journals and magazines, it would be easy enough to ready short articles rather than plodding through a whole book on the phone. Keep up the great work, Logos.
Another happy customer,
Don

Is there any listing of materials that are planned to be iPhone/iPad available?
1) Recently got: Summa Contra Gentiles, by Thomas Aquinas (4 Vols.) and wondered when it would be made available on my iPad?
2) Is the plan for newer releases to co-launch the iPhone/iPad versions of the books so there is no or minimized delay from standard desktop vs. mobile version of the books?
Thanks for all the great work being done on the iPad! I am really looking forward to notes and more features being added so i can use it for all my studies.

May the Lord continue to bless you all for the great work your are doing for the Church of Christ.
I can see you have in mind the Spanish speaking community, and I will pray that you may soon made able all Spanish Bible versions, most of us use the Reina Valera versions, and I hope it will be included soon.

Very impressive. I must now seriously consider purchasing an iPad.

There must be some manually intensive processes that Logos goes through, as I too have noticed the Concordia books, absent from my collection.
I had gotten Luther's Works, but only some of them. I have been looking for the Book of Concord for more than 8 months, while there are other things I do not see, such as the Concordia Collection (whatever that thing is called) which comes on 9 or so CDs.
It seems that there are some really odd rules regarding which books can be posted and which are not. I have wanted Oswald Chambers' "My Utmost for his Highest", which I would think is public domain by now, but have not seen it. Strangely enough, when I go into L4, there it is, right on the homepage!!!
Oh well, enough ranting for now.

Dan,
Your not seeing any of the Concordia Electronic Theological Library? I am 99% sure that Pieper's Dogmatics and Schaff's History of the Christian Church was in that and I have them. I am looking quickly through my library and I see walthers Church and Ministry, Concordia Triglotta (3 languages), Loci Theologici, Loci Communes 1543. I have got Luther's Works 1-30
.

"My Utmost for his Highest" is copyright 1935, 1963 by the publisher and is not public domain.

Bill-
I do see those things which you mentioned, but there are some that do not appear, such as "The Word Becoming Flesh", by Horace Hummel.
Also:
The Word of the Lord Grows, by Franzmann
The Book of Concord, Theodore Tappert
The Book of Concord, Kolb and Wengert
Principles of Biblical Interpretation in the Lutheran Confessions, Bohlmann
Ministry, Word, and Sacraments, Chemnitz
Two Natures in Christ, Chemnitz
Of course, you mentioned that we did get Luther's Works vol 1-30, but it does not help, when I want what is in volume 35 (for example).
There are such things, as "A Summary of Christian Doctrine", by Koehler, so it seems they got part of it, but not all of it.
That is really all I am saying. Of course, I have no clue on how to get the rest of it. I even wrote to Paul McCain, who indicated they authorized release (which is obvious, since some of the CPH stuff shows up).
It sometimes just seems that they are blaming the publisher, when perhaps the publisher has done all the releasing. Perhaps if there were a list of the titles Logos sells and which partial collections they have included.

I have Logos books from the Review and Herald that do not show up on the Logos for iPad or iPhone. I contacted the Review and was told that they had given permission to Logos for the iPhone/iPad use so why are they not all showing up? For example, Reflecting Him, is not available, none of the Testimonies or Selected Messages, the Conflict Series, the list is very long, I am simply giving some examples.

You know, that list is HUGE and a lot of us don't have that huge library but would sure like to be able to use the list to see what's been added. Is there anyway the list can NOT be alphabetized and just have the new items added at the bottom. Is there a list currently lying around that has dates so that it could be sorted by date to give us a starting point and then new things just tacked onto the bottom of the list? this would be a trememdous help. As it is, I usually don't realize something has come available unless i read it in here and I just don't have time to follow the forums closely and still have time to use the program in addition to reading about it. Hello, I just bought William Macdonald's "Believer's Commentary" I did not realize that all purchases are not automatically included for offline reading.
Can you tell me if i can expect this book to be added soon?
Thanks,
Michael

Michael, it has been requested, but so far no response. Until Logos makes it available, I'm using the commentary on the Kindle app on the iPad.

If you don't have to use the entire resource at once, it'd be easy enough to create a PDF of what you need, transfer it to your iPad and view it in GoodReader, iBooks, Readledocs or some similar app that views PDF files.0 -
Thanks for the response. Does that mean you had to buy it twice, or does the download from logos work in that format in iBooks or Kindle? I am new to this
Thanks
