A18 and footnotes

I have L4 on my windows notebook and on my imac. In Windows when I copy text from a commentary, for example, it footnotes the reference. On the imac that does not happen. Is that function not yet ready or am I missing something simple? Thanks for your help.

What program are you attempting to paste into? In Program Settings do you have "copy footnotes" selected?

I am ttying to paste into the Mac program Pages. I do not have "copy footnotes" selected. It is not selected in Windows either but it still gives the citation as a footnote. "Copy citations" is selected on both platforms.

The problem is Pages. It does not accept footnotes.

Citations and footnotes are two different things in terms of Logos as you observe. I thought you were wanting the footnotes in the book in question to be copied over as well. Regardless, we are still working on support for citations to be transferred to Pages. Please see my post here and the post linked from there on a work around.

That's the trick isn't it? If you want to search the forums try this thread, especially the posts by Rosie Perera. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/11154.aspx
