I am still on the fence on this. At $200 Pre-Pub is it value for money?
I'd like the Deuteronomy volume, but will wait until the set gets split.
This is the OT companion to the Pillar Commentary series... indeed those volumes range from $30-$50+ so these 10 volumes at $20 a piece seem like a reasonable value. It is already under production and I am glad to see it coming.

Why didn’t they name it POTC (Pillars Old Testament Commentary) to make it match? And why is IVP the publisher and not Eerdmans? It kind of sucks that they ruin series like this by not matching the names. Like BECNT and the OT counterpart.

What is the OT counterpart of the BECNT?

Baker commentary on the Old Testament is supposed to be the counter part. Why not call ut BECOT like the BECNT? Publishers!

Thanks Dan, I'm in.
This is the OT companion to the Pillar Commentary series..
Ok, I'm in.
Looks like the Hebrew is transcribed. Whether it is good or bad, is a matter of opinion. I wish it was not transcribed.

Better question might be why is the NT series not called Apollos. Since every Pillar volume has an Apollos logo on its title page.
