Problems with contents and bookmarks

I really like the app find it terribly frustrating to use for reading.

I am currently reading Spurgeon volume 1.

(1) When I restart the app it does not remember my place but puts me back to the start of the sermon.

(2) When I try to set a book mark for sermon 2, the book marks takes me back to the preface.

(3) When I select sermon one from the contents I get the preface.

(4) When I select sermon two I get sermons one.

(5) When I select sermon three I get - sermon three!

I love the app but find it anoying. So far bookmarks have been very mixed - often they simply don't get created at all (although they sometimes turm up after being synced) and mostly they return me to an unrelated part of the book.

Any ideas?
