I have the Apologetics Study Bible on my Logos 4 software but it only seems to have the articles but not the Bible text itself. Anyone know why that is?

This is true of all the study Bibles. They include the study Bible notes only. If you link them to a Bible and set them side by side, they work quite well. Logos considers study Bibles to be commentaries. I've tagged all mine as study Bibles and created a collection of them.
I'm not sure this is what you want to here, but it is the way it works in Logos.
The ASB uses the Holman Christian Standard version text, which you probably already have in Logos... that's why they don't usually bother including the text with it... we usually already have the particular bible.
... and there are one or two study bibles that are published with multiple translations. And you know if they were to pick one, it would not be my favorite.
Logos considers study Bibles to be commentaries.
Is this also true of the Lutheran Study Bible?

Is there some reason it shouldn't be? (I'm not familiar with the Lutheran Study Bible.)
Well, I am really not sure. Right now only Concordia pubishing house is putting this out on CD-ROM. I called Logos to see if I could buy it through them and it seems that I can not. Although I read on another thread that the Lutheran Study Bible can be found on the Logos ftp site. I guess I was wanting to hear from some of the other users that have previously purchased this book.

William this thread appeared here in General back on April 14. I do not know if it answers all of your questions, but these all appear to be "happy campers.."

Thanks for the link Steve. i have read this thread and in fact published to it. It never did talk about the biblical text. I am not going to worry about it now. I have gone on and ordered this. I am looking forward to this book.

I'm going to ignore my own advice regarding speculation. It's seems logical to me that the disc must contain the Bible text for individuals who do not already have it but that it will not be loaded into Logos if is duplicates the resource you already have. But I am speculating - making assumptions about how the linkage works ...
I think you would be correct Martha. I am thinking it will be seperate resources. I just had a thought that I will just have to wait a couiple of days to actually check out. How do they have the "center bible references" without the text right there for them to link the superscripts to.unless they use a standard ESV translation. I am just wondering how its going to look. Well, I am rambling a bit,. I will see in a few days. Thanks all for the help.
